In addition, within the borders of Tekirova, there is Tahtalı Mountain, which is one of the highest peaks of the Taurus Mountains, at an altitude of 2800 meters, suitable for winter tourism. Three Islands, where diving tourism is made, are on the coast of Tekirova. On August 20, 1998, it became a municipality by taking the status of municipality. It became a neighborhood with the law numbered 6360, which was accepted by the Turkish Grand National Assembly on 12 November 2012.
