There is no house that Dastar, who has become a symbol, has not touched in this charming town; Dastar, which is woven with traditional methods, is made using cotton, wool or silk threads. Every piece touched is different from the other - like no other.
No matter which door you knock on, you will definitely find a Dastar counter; The friendly residents of Yeşilüzümlü will certainly offer you their home-made wines while giving you all kinds of information about weaving.
An open market is held in the town every Friday. Local coffee houses, cafes and tiny restaurants in the main square are very cute places to mingle with the locals. Apart from this, there are small restaurants where you can find pita and pancakes in different flavors. The old Yeşiüzümlü houses have been recently restored and put into use. You will also have the opportunity to taste olives, olive oil, vinegar, figs and many different products from the region in these lovely places...

The foundation of the city, whose name is mentioned in Lycian inscriptions as Kadawanti, dates back to 3000 BC. It is a different Lycian city with its bird's-eye view of Fethiye and the Cyclops city walls, which gave its name to a wall-building technique. The city survived in the much later Roman period, allowing European historians to identify the city as a Roman city. The city walls in the Cyclops style, underground cisterns, theatre, jogging track, Turkish bath, tombs and its high location, which partially overlook Fethiye Bay, make the city even more worth seeing.

The name of the neighborhood was recorded as "Kargı" in the 1891 records. On March 20, 1952, the settlement, which was listed as the Değirmenboğazı neighborhood of the village of Çenger, gained the status of a village under the name Kargı. After a legal change in 2012, it was reclassified as a neighborhood.
